I was thinking more Pacific 512 with 4WD and a log crane + medium log carrier. Crossing the entire Map with the Caterpillar 745C is not exactly what I was looking forward to when they said "logging". Anyway, please let me know if I'm doing something wrong. The RWD, twin rear tires and short axle distance make it really hard to turn, suspension travel is close to zero making offroading in rocky roads impossible and the frame is so thick you draw the belly through the deeper mud roads slowing you down. I was thinking more Pacific 512 with 4WD and a log crane + medium log carrier. Everything the 770G can do, the CAT 745C can do better. But it would seem the new Paystar Twin Steer would have been the perfect truck for that. on the second part on the Alaska map on the mountain river. But it would seem the new Paystar Twin Steer would have been the perfect truck for that. This is a truck that you can find by exploring the map of Alaska. Don't get me wrong it looks sweet with the long log setup + trailer + log crane. It also bugs the hell out of me that you can't have the log crane + the log carrier together even on trucks that have enough frame space. It seems odd that if they let you add the log carrier to a base game truck, that it would mean it could be autoloaded with logs and not where you have to manually add them with the log crane. I have tried multiple log stations, multiple trucks (modded and vanilla), and for some reason the only in game vehicle that I've been able to successfully do it with is the Caterpillar. Was wondering if anyone else is having the same problem or if they know that it is just the way the game intended it to be.
